Field Service Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Field Service Technician to join the Dreisilker team in Glen Ellyn, IL. As a Field Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in repairing and replacing electronic, electrical, and electromechanical components for our industrial control assemblies. Your work will involve field service at customer sites and shop settings, demonstrating your mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties and Skills Required

• Field Balancing
• Vibration Analysis Level 1 or above
• Building a vibration database
• Vibration and Alignment reporting
• Rigging
• Motor Installation of all types
• Pump repairs including Seal Installation and New packing installation
• Bearing Installation for Blowers and Motors
• Pulley Alignment and Belt Tensioning
• Laser Alignment of all equipment
• Wiring and tape motor connections
• Troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical issues
• Advanced understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems, AC/DC motors and applications
• Maintain, inspect, diagnose faults, modify, and repair equipment
