We are hiring an Event Planning Specialist to join the Air Line Pilots Association team in Tysons (McLean), Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating meeting spaces, hotel accommodations, and various travel arrangements for pilot members and staff. Additionally, you will assist in planning Association meetings, events, and conventions while ensuring exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate meeting spaces and hotel accommodations.
• Plan and manage Association meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
• Provide excellent support to pilot members and internal staff.
• Ensure compliance with budget and financial reporting requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; college coursework in business math preferred.
• 2+ years of event planning experience, preferably in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event planning software.
• Ability to travel 10-20%, including nights and weekends.
