Electrical Maintenance Technician 1

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician 1 to join Charter Next Generation (CNG) at our facility in Bloomer, WI. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician 1, you will be responsible for the operation and output of assigned production lines, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and maintenance of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain good interaction and teamwork with supervisors and co-workers.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and special projects as directed.
• Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and contractors/vendors for equipment maintenance and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety rules and industry regulations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in relevant technical field.
• 3-5 years of electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to troubleshoot.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, lift, reach, and handle heavy objects.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures and around equipment.
• Excellent vision and hearing abilities required for the role.
