Construction Intern

Job Description

We are hiring a Construction Intern to join our team at Home Creations. As a Construction Intern, you will work closely with the superintendent to assist in construction, maintenance, and landscaping activities. This is a full-time hourly position based in Edmond, Oklahoma.

General Purpose

The primary role of the Construction Intern is to support the superintendent in various construction tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency in all projects. This role involves hands-on work and active participation in on-site activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping, yards, shrubs, trees, and watering sod.
• Help maintain clean streets and gutters.
• Perform minor touch-ups and activities on punch-list.
• Ensure the quality of the final product.
• Communicate effectively with team members and subcontractors.

Requirements

• High school diploma and six months of general labor experience.
• Knowledge of erosion control guidelines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in using technology and computers.

Work Environment

The Construction Intern should be prepared for outdoor work sites with exposure to various elements. Physical demands may include bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting. Driving to different locations in different weather conditions may be required.
