Job Description

The Clumpies & GOOD DOG Catering and Events Team Leader will oversee event booking, catering delivery, and setup for special events, ensuring exceptional guest service and operational excellence. This role involves leading a team, coordinating scheduling, food preparation, and maintaining relationships with event professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent guest service in alignment with organizational values.
  • Lead Catering and Special Events team and drive operational goals.
  • Schedule catering outlets for peak season operations.
  • Manage food preparation and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Establish relationships with event planners to drive sales opportunities.
  • Oversee catering equipment setup and maintenance for events.
  • Enforce company policies, health codes, and safety standards.
  • Supervise partners and address guest complaints.
  • Ensure proper cash handling, time controls, and temperature monitoring.
  • Perform cashier duties, serve guests, and manage daily operations.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in Food Service/Hospitality preferred.
  • Serve Safe Certification.
  • Team leadership and motivation skills.
  • Valid driver's license for event truck and trailer operation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
  • Flexible schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift/move up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Compensation

Hourly wage of $17.4-17.45.
