We are seeking a dedicated 3rd Shift Engineering Technician to join the Superior Dairy team at Michigan Milk Producers Association. As an Engineering Technician, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing production and process equipment. The ideal candidate should possess strong problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and communicate effectively across different departments.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot machines using PLC code, primarily Rockwell / Allen Bradley systems.
  • Refer to electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics to diagnose machine issues.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team on equipment repairs.
  • Engage with operators and supervisors to enhance system efficiency.
  • Assist with project work assigned by the engineering team during the night shift.
  • Keep maintenance and engineering informed about outstanding issues from the day shift.

Experience

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience with PLC systems preferred.
