1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join Aldi. The position offers 30-35 hours per week with starting wages ranging from $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. As a team member, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and participating in inventory counts.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Clean the warehouse and participate in inventory counts.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products and notify management of quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Perform tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Operate equipment safely.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare for deliveries.
• Work in various temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
