1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a team member, you will be responsible for efficiently handling and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with peers and warehouse leadership. This role requires physical agility, attention to detail, and the ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Clean and maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and suppliers.
• Provide insights to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and report any issues.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, resilience, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
