1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Aldi is hiring a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the warehouse operations team. Our warehouse employees work less than 30 hours per week and play a crucial role in receiving, selecting, and delivering products to our stores. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, relocating merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with peers and warehouse leadership to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Operate equipment safely and maintain warehouse appearance standards.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move merchandise up to 45 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
