1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. The starting wage ranges from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour, based on shift and schedule differential pay. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for various duties such as selecting and receiving incoming stock, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and cooperating effectively with peers and warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Perform assigned tasks accurately, efficiently, and within company policies.
• Follow safety guidelines and ergonomic procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies, communicate effectively, and work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment.
