1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are currently looking for 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handlers to join our team at Aldi. As a Full-Time employee, you will work an average of 30-35 hours per week, with a starting wage ranging from $19.50 to $23.50 per hour based on the shift and schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform warehouse cleaning duties and maintain safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality and assist in achieving budget goals.
• Operate equipment safely and report any issues.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk in various warehouse conditions.
