Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and team-oriented Registered Veterinary Technician or Senior Veterinary Assistant to join our Surgery team in San Francisco. Our merging with Ethos Veterinary Health emphasizes our commitment to advancing animal health and providing exceptional care. As part of our community at SAGE San Francisco, you will work alongside experienced veterinary professionals to ensure the well-being of pets and their families.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surgical suites and equipment for procedures.
- Assist with patient preparation and anesthesia management.
- Provide surgical assistance and postoperative care.
- Handle radiography, imaging, and emergency response as needed.
- Maintain equipment and ensure client communication on postoperative care.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Active CA-RVT license preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3+ years of clinical and surgical experience in a Specialty Practice.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit required within 60 days of hire.
Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage ($25.00 - $40.00) based on experience and skillset.
- $8,000 sign-on bonus for new RVTs, $5,000 sign-on bonus for Senior Veterinary Assistants.
- Full-time position on a 4/10 schedule (Monday-Thursday).
