Store Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Store Team Member to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. By providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies, maintain document security, and uphold confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Proficient in customer service and operating cash registers.
• Able to work with equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and can multitask efficiently.
• Meets state requirements for alcohol sales, if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
