Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate Social Worker to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As part of our Allied Health team at Levindale Hospital, you will provide clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients and their families, addressing various common challenges such as adjustment to institutional living, financial concerns, and counseling related to death and dying.
Responsibilities
- Offer clinical social work services and psychosocial assessments to patients and families.
- Assist individuals in coping with challenges related to institutional living, aging, and family relationships.
- Provide counseling and support related to medical diagnoses, discharge planning, and end-of-life care.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW); Master's degree preferred.
- LCSW-C certification preferred.
- LGSW certification.
- Prior experience in clinical social work or related field.
