Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate Social Worker to join the LifeBridge Health team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As a full-time Social Worker, you will provide clinical social work services to patients and families, addressing various challenges they may face during their healthcare journey.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide counseling to patients and families.
- Assist with discharge planning and end-of-life counseling.
- Address financial concerns, family dynamics, and other common social work issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient well-being.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Social Work (BSW) required; Master's degree preferred.
- Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical (LCSW-C) or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.
