Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Director, Development, to manage a portfolio of funders, devise fundraising strategies, and cultivate relationships with corporate, foundation, and government funders. Responsibilities

• Immerse in Enterprise's mission and programs to shape fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with program staff to develop compelling case statements for funders.
• Build relationships within Enterprise and with external funders to create tailored fundraising strategies.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with diverse funders, engage in meetings, events, and tours.
• Write and submit proposals, reports, and stewardship documents in line with funder guidelines.
• Create customized proposals and impact reports with design and communications support.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce to track activities and interactions with funders.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Demonstrated success in securing 6-figure gifts.
• Bachelor's degree and proficient writing skills.
• Basic design skills for funder-facing materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
