Residential Designer
Were you the kid who grew up building entire neighborhoods out of plastic blocks? Can you now make those childhood dream-homes into reality? Drexel Building Supply has the perfect position for you! We are looking for an out-of-this-world person who has the creativity and passion to make clients' dreams come true through your ability to design sensational homes.
About the Residential Design Role
- Develop concept floor plan layouts and exterior elevations.
- Transform concept floor plans/elevations into construction documents (Blue Prints).
- Comfortable with using computers.
- Math wizard.
- Work directly with clients to discuss their wants/needs.
- Understand roof, truss & floor loads.
- Provide clients with exceptional service.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and creative.
- No experience necessary; training provided.
- Strong communication skills.
- Assist in training and motivating team members.
Your Prior Work Experience
- Revit or similar experience a PLUS.
- Customer-centric background.
- Team player and contributor.
- Product knowledge expert.
- Unique qualities that bring value to the role.
