Process Engineering Manager

Job Description

Johns Manville Corp, a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family, is seeking a talented Process Engineering Manager to join its team in Tucson, AZ. In this role, you will lead technical and engineering resources to align capabilities with production demand, enhance competitive positioning, and drive innovation in product development and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering disciplines and spearhead process improvement initiatives.
• Develop work plans for direct reports and ensure operational flexibility.
• Collaborate on technical projects and drive efficiency in the glass manufacturing process.
• Lead a team of salary employees and oversee performance evaluations and hiring processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of industrial and technical management experience.
• Master’s degree and Professional Engineer's license preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in glass manufacturing processes and process improvement activities.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a continuous process discipline such as Six Sigma Lean TQM preferred.
