Job Description

We are looking for a Preferred Accounts Manager to join our team at Johns Manville, a leading manufacturer of insulation, commercial roofing, glass fibers, and nonwovens. As part of the Berkshire Hathaway family, we are committed to excellence, serving customers globally in various industries. In this role, you will be responsible for managing business development, sales efforts, and account activities for key clients in the roofing systems division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as a trusted partner for clients.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and increase JM's share.
  • Support sales efforts and provide enhanced services for client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/advanced degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Experience in business development and national accounts sales.
  • Skilled in negotiation and problem resolution.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with commercial building owners and specifiers.
  • Knowledge of advanced sales techniques and competitor products.
  • Expert communication skills.
  • Participation in relevant industry associations.
