Outpatient Therapist

Job Description

ColumbiaCare Services, Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Therapist in Medford, Oregon. The role involves providing clinical services, reporting to the Outpatient Clinical Manager, performing a Provisional Assessment for individuals in crisis, and offering clinical oversight and consultation to facility staff and other community providers. The position also includes crisis de-escalation training and eligibility for participation in the supervision toward licensure program after the 90-day introductory period.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Full & Part Time, Day)

Salary

$6,000 - $7,250 per month depending on credentials. An additional 5% Language Differential is offered for Bilingual or Multilingual candidates (Spanish/English desired).

Requirements

• Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) registration. Eligibility requires a Master's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field, and two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health treatment setting is preferred.
• Driving is an essential function of this position. Successful applicants must have a valid Oregon driver’s license, maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check.
• The position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, sit, stand, walk, reach; as well as lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. It may also require the ability to occasionally climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks as applicable.

About the Program

The Outpatient Program provides assessment and evaluation, treatment plan development, and provides clinically indicated outpatient therapy, case management, skills training, and psychiatric (medication) services. The Psychiatric Services Team operates as a branch within the Outpatient Program, specializing in psychiatric, nursing, and medication services. Psychiatric services are provided both on-site and remotely through telemedicine.
