Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level) to join our team at Cibola General Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education, and follow-up care to patients of all ages. Duties also include proper record-keeping, collaborating with healthcare professionals, ordering tests, administering treatment, promoting health, and more.
Primary Functions
- Examine patients and record history.
- Discuss with physicians and healthcare professionals to prepare comprehensive care plans.
- Administer treatment, prescribe medications, and provide health advice.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Perform minor surgical procedures.
- Report and comply with healthcare protocols and regulations.
Education and Experience
- Must hold and maintain a valid State of New Mexico license.
- Current National Board Certification.
- DEA certification.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively for quality healthcare delivery.
Additional Qualifications
- Prior experience with electronic medical records.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
