Job Description:

ArcBest II ABF Freight is currently seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Hazmat and Tanker Truck Driver to join our team in Honolulu, HI. Our City Drivers are essential in maintaining strong customer relationships using the latest technology to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform pickups and deliveries of cargo to and from various destinations, typically within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Handle loading and unloading of trailers following dock worker procedures and utilizing appropriate techniques and technology.
• Specific duties and schedules may vary based on terminal location.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement is 21 years old.
• At least 1 year of tractor/trailer experience is preferred; training may be provided for those with less experience.
• Must possess a Class A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and HAZMAT endorsements.
• Stable work record and strong work ethic are essential qualities for candidates.
• Clean driving records (MVR and previous employers) are mandatory.
• All drivers must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements.
