Merchandise Handler - Overtime Available

Job Description

We are looking to hire a dedicated and reliable Merchandise Handler to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Merchandise Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently managing merchandise movement within our warehouse, ensuring accuracy, and providing excellent customer service.

Primary Objective & Scope of Position:

This role involves storing, moving, and distributing products efficiently. As a leader in the warehouse, you will also provide training to other team members.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Organize and optimize merchandise placement within the warehouse.
• Prepare merchandise for display, storage, or shipment.
• Utilize the POS system for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy in handling customer orders.
• Assist in unloading, receiving, inspecting, and preparing outgoing merchandise.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or working towards a GED.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware components.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
