Job Description
The Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team. As an essential member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our clients and supporting our mission of improving lives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to clients in clinic and community settings.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Document and maintain accurate client medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide guidance and support to clients and their families.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in Tennessee.
- Knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, A&D, and co-occurring disorders preferred.
- CPR certified or willing to become certified.
- Experience working with special populations preferred.
- Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to diverse cultural backgrounds and situations with respect and empathy.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including handle verbal and physical de-escalation techniques.
