Job Description
Wise Landscaping is seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Lawncare Applicator to join our team in Dayton. As a licensed applicator, you will be responsible for providing top-quality fertilization and weed control to enhance the appearance of our commercial clients' landscapes. This role not only offers the opportunity for professional growth but also serves as a pathway to managerial positions within our company.
Key Responsibilities & Performance Deliverables
- Deliver high-quality work on all assigned jobs.
- Complete production tasks within specified labor and material budgets.
- Stock and prepare the truck with necessary products and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Participate actively in team meetings and prioritize safety.
- Diagnose and address turf problems.
- Generate leads and communicate enhancements to the Account Manager.
- Maintain pesticide applicator license through ongoing education.
- Ensure timely acquisition of required materials and equipment for treatments.
- Coordinate equipment care and maintenance with Fleet Services Manager.
- Perform additional work during off-peak seasons, such as snow events.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Valid driver's license with fewer than 4 points.
- Current applicator license.
- Minimum 2 years of practical experience.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in varying outdoor conditions.
- Capability to work independently and utilize job management software.
- Proficiency in using GPS or map navigation.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
