We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Cook to join our team at Hornblower - City Experiences in Norfolk, VA. As part of City Experiences, you'll be a key player in delivering exceptional culinary experiences both on land and water. Responsibilities

• Manage back-of-the-house cruise operations alongside the Executive Chef to ensure high levels of quality, sanitation, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead and train kitchen staff to uphold sanitation standards and adhere to health department codes.
• Coordinate with other departments to enhance service and product quality.
• Participate in guest service initiatives and safety programs to ensure a seamless experience for guests.
• Administer kitchen operations, including cost control, inventory management, and purchasing.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience in a full-service/banquet, high-volume setting.
• At least 1 year of kitchen staff management experience.
• ServSafe Certified.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, establish effective relationships, and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
