Job Description
Join the Slumberland Furniture Delivery Team as a Home Delivery Driver! As a Home Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for leading the delivery team to inspect, load, deliver, and set up merchandise for customers in a safe and accurate manner. If you enjoy working independently, providing excellent customer experiences, and value a supportive work environment, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
- Deliver merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Establish customer greetings, conduct pre-inspections, set up merchandise, and verify delivery accuracy.
- Maintain clean delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
