Job Description
Slumberland Furniture is seeking a dedicated Home Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and efficient deliveries, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery team in inspecting, loading, delivering, and setting up merchandise for customers.
- Deliver merchandise safely and efficiently.
- Establish customer greeting, conduct pre-inspection, set up merchandise, and verify delivery accuracy.
- Maintain clean delivery vehicles and perform daily vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to provide direction, maintain accurate records, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Pass DOT requirements, criminal background check, and drug screening.
