FSQR Quality Pre-Sorter

Job Description

We are looking for a FSQR Quality Pre-Sorter to join Cargill's protein and salt business in Wyalusing, PA. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our food products meet regulatory standards and quality requirements.

Principal Accountabilities

• Transition from TS Tech I to TS Tech III level after training.
• Interact with and communicate with USDA-FSIS Inspectors regularly.
• Monitor and ensure plant compliance with USDA-FSIS regulatory standards.
• Act as a liaison between USDA-FSIS and plant operations.
• Perform tasks such as incising lymph nodes and carcass preparation for inspection.
• Rotate among different areas of the harvest floor.
• Must be proficient in all tasks prior to USDA-FSIS inspection.

Required Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Efficient communication skills in English.
• Ability to perform basic math and physical tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in beef processing with knife skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong understanding of USDA-FSIS requirements.
• Ability to learn technical procedures and concepts.
• Understanding of safe food and employee safety practices.
