Job Title: Engineer II - DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing)

Job Type: Full-Time, On-site
Salary Range: $74,400 - $92,900/year
Position Summary:
The Engineer II - DAS manages and implements field projects to provide technical support for geophysical instruments and networks. This role involves logistics, field operations, collaborating with team members, proposing new technologies, and ensuring project conformity to standards.
Responsibilities:
- Implement geophysical projects and assist with multiple projects.
- Solve technical issues related to sensor hardware, firmware, and software.
- Design and test new systems, evaluate instrument design, and specify configurations.
- Document activities, draft technical reports, and collaborate on projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in engineering/geosciences.
- 3 years of experience with geophysical sensors or networks.
- Knowledge of data quality analysis software preferred.
- Experience with Fiber Optics Distributed Sensing applications and signal processing.
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and passport for travel requirements.
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions and lift up to 75 pounds.
