Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Emergency Management Coordinator to oversee and lead our Emergency Management Department in Clear Creek County, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating emergency response activities, conducting training and exercises, and ensuring compliance with emergency management protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update emergency operations plans and policies.
  • Coordinate trainings and exercises for emergency response personnel.
  • Manage the Emergency Operations Center and lead multi-agency coordination efforts.
  • Prepare and manage the department's annual budget.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or High School Diploma with four years of relevant experience.
  • Certifications in ICS, HSEEP, and FEMA Professional Development Series.
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License and ability to work irregular hours.

Skills

  • Considerable knowledge of emergency management principles and operations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing situations and work under pressure.

Salary

$26.51-33.14 per hour
