Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at First Student, the largest school transportation provider in North America. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing school buses, ensuring their safety and readiness for daily operations.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs on school buses.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle components such as brakes, suspensions, and transmissions.
- Ensure accurate completion of work orders.
- Assist with mobile emergency services as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
- Minimum 5 years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience or technical school education.
- Own a mechanic’s tool set.
- Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
- Must pass a drug test.
