Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. As a Cook, you will work alongside the Chef in preparing meals, ensuring high-quality standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting with food preparation, overseeing kitchen operations, and upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef with food preparation, maintaining quality and portion control.
• Ensure high standards of cooking and food presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements

• High school diploma required, with 3+ years of hotel operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using computer software programs like Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations effectively.
