Job Description
New Era Technology is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Field Engineer to join our global team. As an AV Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting AV and multimedia systems, upholding our company standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the installation team with AV systems installation tasks.
- Perform technical tasks such as wiring, labeling, and terminations for AV systems.
- Fabricate AV systems both on-site and in-house.
- Install equipment into racks and cable dressing.
- Document equipment details and maintain inventory control.
- Test and troubleshoot control systems programming and DSP files.
- Train clients on using AV systems and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Avixa CTS certification and a minimum of four years of AV experience.
- Proficiency in audiovisual applications (ClearOne, AMX, Extron, Crestron, etc.).
- Ability to work flexible hours, travel domestically and internationally.
- Strong organization, multitasking, and soldering skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid US Passport.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, work at heights, and use ladders safely.
