Rudman & Winchell LLC, a general practice law firm, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Litigator to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will handle civil litigation cases, advocate for clients' rights, and represent them through legal proceedings.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including drafting legal documents.
- Conduct legal research, develop case strategies, and manage the litigation process.
- Negotiate settlements, represent clients in various legal proceedings.
- Collaborate with attorneys and support staff for efficient case management.
- Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in Maine.
- Experience in civil litigation, strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, organized, ethical, and committed to client confidentiality.
- Willingness to travel for client needs and work beyond standard hours.
