Job Description
Slumberland Furniture is seeking Warehouse Workers with experience in Forklift Operations to join our team.
Primary Objective & Scope of Position:
This role involves efficiently storing, moving, and distributing merchandise. The Warehouse Worker will lead by example, provide training to colleagues, and ensure accurate inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Move and organize merchandise for optimal space usage.
- Handle product movement to and from various areas.
- Utilize POS system for inventory management.
- Inspect, tag, receive, unwrap, assemble, and pack merchandise as needed.
- Provide training to other employees.
- Maintain professional customer service standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware.
- Valid driver's license and basic computer proficiency.
